Siyakhula Computer School offers end-user computer training courses in Microsoft Office through our online or offline program. This includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 2019 training courses. With the help of our teachers and tutors, students can learn how to work with the programs and technology needed to create a work of art or send a professional email. Since the late 1990s, we have offered end-user computer training at our Computer School.

- Introduction to computers, mouse and keyboard skills
- Introduction to basic ICT theory, hardware and software
- Introduction to computer operating systems and Windows 7/10
- Introduction to Microsoft Word 2016/2019
- Introduction to Microsoft Excel 2016/2019
- Introduction to Email
- Introduction to the Internet
Full-time: Monday – Friday (half-day) for 2 weeks. Fees: R650 p/student.
Part-time: Saturdays (8am-1pm) for 6 Saturdays. Fees: R850 p/student.
Special Class: Flexible for 10 days. Fees: R1050 p/student.
Level 2:
- Intermediate Word processor skills (tables, diagrams, borders)
- Intermediate Excel skills (formulas, charts, calculations)
Full-time: Monday – Friday (half-day) for 2 weeks. Fees: R650 p/student.
Part-time: Saturdays (8am-1pm) for 6 Saturdays. Fees: R850 p/student.

Level 3:
- Introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint 2016/2019
- Introduction to digital photography
- Personal Presentation skills

Level 4:
- Introduction to Outlook 2016/2019
- Introduction to workplace etiquette, emails and calendars
- Workplace and organisational skills
Full-time: Monday – Friday (half-day) for 1 week. Fees: R650 p/student.
Part-time: Saturdays (8am-1pm) for 4 Saturdays. Fees: R850 p/student.
Special Class: Flexible for 10 days. Fees: R1050 p/student.
Level 5:
- Use Advanced tools and features in Microsoft PowerPoint 2016/2019, Customize design, Work with Media
- Build advanced transitions and animation
- Finalize presentations, customize presentation, Secure and distribute a Presentation etc.
Full-time: Monday – Friday (half-day) for 2 weeks. Fees: R1100 p/student.
Part-time: Saturdays (8am-1pm) for 6 Saturdays. Fees: R1500 p/student.
Special Class: Flexible for 10 days. Fees: R1800 p/student.
Entry Requirements: Students must have a minimum comprehension of English with at least a Grade 10 pass in English. Practice computers are available outside of training time for students to use to improve their skills.
